EMRIC acquires business from WM-data

Emric has acquired the WinFinance operations of WM-data. The business includes the system products WinFinance and WinMember, which are administrative systems for finance companies, other lenders and membership organisations. Clients of the business include SEB Finans, Danske Bank, SvefoCollector, Officersförbundet (the Association of Military Officers in Sweden) and Försvarsförbundet (the Swedish Union of Defence Employees).

The acquisition, which also involves 11 people moving from WM-data to EMRIC, further strengthens EMRIC’s offering to finance companies and lenders. In 2006 EMRIC launched the Finance Process Outsourcing service, which involves the delivery and operation of “turnkey” finance companies and lending enterprises. The offering includes systems for credit checks, for loans and leasing sold via the Internet as well as for administration. In addition, EMRIC assists with credit processing, customer service and advice. The business now acquired from WM-data further expands both the scope of EMRIC’s products and its expertise within the framework of Finance Process Outsourcing. The systems will also be marketed separately and together with EMRIC’s loan processing system KreDirekt.
